Fighting Games: The best Fighting game

To add another genre on the threads, Ill ask who among you like playing fighting games. It can be Tekken, Soul Calibur or KOF or any other series that you have played.

Personally, i only play fighting games on my PSP, because i can do it without immersing myself too much on the game like when i'm outside and i still need to be aware of what's happening around me.

I still play Soul Calibur until today. The super cool weapons and unique fighting styles of the characters made the game for me. Plus the create character mode that allows you to make fully customizable fighters. Was this supposed to be a poll?

I only play these specific titles. Tekken 5, Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter EX, Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate.

Tekken 5 (add to that the dojo mode) is awesome and a perfect fighting game you won't ever get bored of especially with skilled friends. SF 3 has awesome animation and excellent gameplay. EX is also nice and plays so great plus the mini moves game over the psx. MK is also a BAMF and deserves to be one of my first best fighting game way back in the early 90's.

On the turd side, Tekken 6 sucks so bad I don't know if I like tekken anymore. Street fighter 4 is also crap, It has cell-shaded graphics with the same gameplay but I prefer SF3 over this anyday. MK has gone down the drain after 3, we all know about it anyway.

It seems you're totally discontented with the next generation of the titles. Please remember that they will have to be dynamic and not show the same things over and over again. As for my game, my favorite is KOF. I've played it since i was a kid and this is the first thing I look for when I visit the gaming arcades.

For me Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are classic and the best ones to play.

mortal kombat is a classic. i actually didnt like when it went to a 3D game. Im a big fan of the old school arcade style games.

I play a lot of fighting games like tekken, soul calibur and more but i prefer tekken because it is more popular in my circle of friends it creates the bond between us. We always play in tournament type so will know who among us is the master of tekken. Tekken 3 specifically.
